Collection: All Type of Beads

In our beading patterns, we typically use two types of seed beads: Czech Preciosa size 10 and Japanese Miyuki Delica size 11. Both are suitable for beadwork, but they have key differences that affect the final look of your piece.

Czech Preciosa (size 10) beads have a rounder, slightly less uniform shape. This gives the finished piece a softer, more organic appearance. They're often chosen for ethnic-inspired designs, wide bracelets, or traditional pieces like gerdans, where texture and character are important.

Japanese Miyuki Delica (size 11) beads are precisely cut and perfectly cylindrical. This makes them ideal for clean, even, and smooth beadwork. They’re perfect for detailed patterns, miniatures, earrings, and any project that requires sharp lines and geometric precision.

Our patterns indicate the recommended bead type, but you can always adapt the design based on what you have.
