📌 Pattern Overview

  • Technique: Loom Stitch
  • Columns: 15
  • Rows: 71
  • Bead type: Preciosa Round 10/0
  • Bead count: 1065 beads
  • Colors: 4
  • Finished size: approx. 2.5 cm × 15.5 cm (1 × 6⅛ in), depending on thread tension and your strenght of weaving. You may also use Miyuki Delica 11/0, but remember - final size will vary, because type and size of beads will change.

The pattern is designed for both beginners and experienced beaders who enjoy structured loom work, high repetition rhythm, and clean geometric lines, with some Ukrainian native inspired ornaments.

🎨 Color Legend

The pattern contains four bead colors, clearly marked in the PDF on page 3:

  • A — Opaque Black (10-23980)
  • B — Opaque Maraschino Cherry (10-93170)
  • C — Opaque Bisque White (10-03050)
  • D — Opaque Capri Blue (10-63020)

Remember: 10 - size of beads, 23980 - number of color. Each letter corresponds to a bead in the chart. This makes the pattern easy to follow row by row. This is also done so that if the colors are very similar in shade, you don’t get them mixed up. And the letter markings make it easier to print the pattern on black-and-white paper.

🧵 How to Read the Loom Chart

The PDF includes two main visual parts:

1. The Full Loom Diagram (Color Grid Pattern): Shown on pages 4–5 of the PDF, this is the complete visual layout of the bracelet. This grid shows how every bead is positioned horizontally and vertically.

2. The Row-by-Row Breakdown: Pages 6–7 include detailed line-by-line instructions like:

> Row 1 (L): (1) A, (1) B, (3) C, (5) A, (3) C, (1) B, (1) A

This helps beaders who prefer reading exact bead sequences rather than following large grids. The word chart is also very convenient because you can easily change all the colors and bead according to the letters only.

To do this, choose the bead colors you have or the ones you like, pour them onto your bead mat or organizer, and place the corresponding letters next to them. This way, by following the letter markings, you can recreate the same design but in a different color combination.

Both formats are beginner-friendly and work perfectly with any bead loom.

🔧 Tools & Materials You Will Need

  • Loom for beading
  • Bead Pattern
  • Preciosa 10/0 seed beads
  • beading thread (Nymo, S-Lon, or another loom-friendly thread)
  • beading needles
  • scissors
  • glue and slider clasps (optional)

You can find all these materials in the ready-made kits in our shop, or you can buy them separately from any other online stores or local craft shops.

🧶 How to Use the Pattern: Step-by-Step

1. Warp your loom. Prepare 16 warp threads (one more than the number of columns). Thread one main beading thread through the needle. Tie one end to the first warp thread on the loom. You can see exactly how this works and how to do it correctly in the detailed video tutorial on my YouTube channel.

2. Start with Row 1. Load beads exactly according to the row sequence.
Example from the pattern (page 6) :

Row 1: A–B–C–C–C–A–A–A–A–A–C–C–C–B–A

Slide them under the warp threads, lift with your finger, and pass the needle through.

3. Follow the rows from top to bottom. Go in order: Row 1 → Row 2 → Row 3… until Row 71. After the last row, tie off your ends, add your preferred clasp, or create simple bead loops on each side.
